This city is so mystifying, contradictory, and sprawling, but it’s full of the same intimate moments that has any other city has. There’s a fundamental sameness to the way that young people (20 or 30 somethings) who are students or in professional jobs seem to come together to interact. Even from last night, not knowing 90% of what was being said, I felt comfortable and welcomed into this intimacy.

Só numa cidade absurdamente bela como São Paulo pode acontecer a virada Cultural! Com todos os defeitos e críticas que se podem fazer a esse evento, ele é, sem dúvida, um momento incrível, no qual a cidade mostra a vontade que tem de ter momentos de ocupação dos seus espaços públicos com atividades criativas, artísticas, culturais e interessantes! Só numa cidade tão grande como São Paulo, é possível ver tanta, mas tanta gente na rua por literais 24h assistindo shows, vendo peças de teatro, indo a cinemas, apresentações de dança, rodas de samba… me enche de orgulho e animação! :)
